BREAKING NEWS!!! IMMIGRATION AMNESTY?: August 2011, by Attorney Charles Jerome Ware

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), this week, quietly announced intention to implement a new policy of individually reviewing over 300,000 actively pending deportation cases in federal immigration courts.  So-called "lower-priority" deportation cases will be suspended.

Lower-priority cases are those which do not involve immigrants considered violent or otherwise dangerous to the American public.

The reason given for this new policy is the matter of prioritizing these cases and allocating more efficiently scarce resources.

Conservative critics, of course, are calling this new policy "backdoor amnesty" for undocumented aliens.

Author's Update: Charles Jerome Ware, former Special Counsel to the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, and author of the soon-to-be-published book, "LEGAL CONSUMER TIPS AND SECRETS".

"NIGERIAN INDICTED FOR ALLEGED SCAMMING OF LAW FIRMS"

A Nigerian man has been extradited from Nigeria to the United States and indicted for alleged scamming of over $31,000,000.00 from over 80 law firms and lawyers in this country.  Ironically, the alleged crimes involved debt collection scams [and see Chapter 11, "Legal Consumer Tips and Secrets", by attorney Charles Jerome Ware (2011)].

The alleged victims included several prominent Pennsylvania law firms, an Alabama law firm, as well as a Canadian law firm.

The man and his associates also attempted without success to defraud an additional 300 lawyers and law firms out of over $100,000,000.00.
