BREAKING NEWS!!! IMMIGRATION AMNESTY?: August 2011, by Attorney Charles Jerome Ware

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), this week, quietly announced intention to implement a new policy of individually reviewing over 300,000 actively pending deportation cases in federal immigration courts.  So-called "lower-priority" deportation cases will be suspended.

Lower-priority cases are those which do not involve immigrants considered violent or otherwise dangerous to the American public.

The reason given for this new policy is the matter of prioritizing these cases and allocating more efficiently scarce resources.

Conservative critics, of course, are calling this new policy "backdoor amnesty" for undocumented aliens.
