Consumerism

According to some, "Consumerism" is now the largest fundamentalist religion in the United States.  In this context, "Consumerism" is defined as the deeply held American belief that buying goods and services can fill the voids in our hearts and souls [see, Chapter 20, "Legal Consumer Tips and Secrets", new book by Charles Jerome Ware (2011)].
