IS DUI or DWI SELF-REPRESENTATION A GOOD IDEA?

www.CharlesJeromeWare.com.  "Here to make a difference."

DUI and DWI defense attorney Charles Ware is Maryland-based and nationally ranked as "One of the 10 BEST DUI and DWI Attorneys in the State of Maryland" by his many satisfied clients, legal peers, and the American Institute of DUI and DWI Attorneys [AIDUIA].  For an initial courtesy consultation, call defense attorney Charles Ware at (410) 730-5016 or (410) 720-6129, or email him at charlesjeromeware@Msn.com.  He can help you.  Guaranteed.

Generally, self-representation is not a good idea, and consequently not a viable option, for those charged with DUI and DWI offenses.  It is very difficult to do successfully.

Further, judges in Maryland generally prefer that people charged with DUI and/or DWI have legal representation in all proceedings.  Major reasons for this is because (1) DUIs and DWIs are serious offences that can subject the defendant (accused) to jail time, and (2) expungement of these offenses are extremely difficult if not impossible (if you are convicted, of course).
