TWITTER, the light-speed growing Internet messaging service is presently in business negotiations to raise additional private financing. This new round of private financing could raise TWITTER'S valuation to over $1 Billion.
TWITTER, a San Francisco-based website, offers a wildly and widely popular social networking and microblogging service. Twitter enables its millions of users to send and read messages called "tweets". Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 character displayed on the user's profile page.
TWITTER was produced in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey and launched in July 2006.
